I'm Cliff Harvey a software engineer working primarily in Haskell at Klarna Core Banking. In a prior life I was an enthusiastic physics student, focusing on quantum information, quantum field theory, even a bit of string theory. More recently, I worked at Typelane in the area of workplace communication ("engagement") building products conversational feedback via chatbot and automated onboardings.

Open-Source Software Projects

  • Destroid – A space shooter based on the classic Asteroids, embracing a toroidal spacetime topology. Written in the functional reactive programming language Elm. Playable here.
  • quantum-random – A haskell library and executable to retrieve, store and manage real quantum random numbers, originating from vacuum fluctuations of the electromagnetic field and served by Australian National University.
  • 5 Qubits project – An interactive exploration of a 5-qubit proof of the Bell-Kochen-Specker theorem in quantum mechanics, exhibiting the results of research carried out at WPI in which the "observables proof" of Divencenzo & Peres is elaborated to a "states proof".
